Our Story
ABOUT ME
I'm Chika, a plant loving Japanese creator based out of my home greenhouse and workshop in Auckland, New Zealand.
Merging my two passions of crafts and plants from my childhood, I founded Chic by Chica in 2011 as a little craft business. I have been making and offering various botanical themed items for everyone, with hopes my creations bring happiness and a joy to your everyday life.
From supplying decors for some cafes initially, we have now grown to have a wide range of products available at our regular pop up market stalls, open and private workshops, and now an online store!
MORE ABOUT OUR PLANTS
We grow the majority of the plants used in our products ourselves in the home garden and a little greenhouse we have. This means we can carefully care for the each plant before making our creations to ensure not only they are healthy but they are also in the perfect growth stage for the arrangement. As a part of caring for the plants, we do pruning and trimming. This is when we propagate the new baby plants as well as dry them for the use of our craft materials on our decor items.
